• Bruce Deer, CEO — As CEO of Origin, Mr. Deer draws on over 25 years of experience in engineering, software and systems development, product development, business development, operations and business-unit leadership. Previously, Mr. Deer served as President and CEO of SkyTel, the nation’s premier paging and wireless messaging service. Prior to SkyTel Mr. Deer worked for Lockheed Martin in various technical and management responsibilities.
• Dr. Greg Petrisor, Co-Founder — Dr. Petrisor is responsible for the technology commercialization aspects of Origin Technologies. This role builds on Dr. Petrisor’s prior experience performing similar functions and leading technology strategy advisory services at technology commercialization firm Zone Reactor. Under Dr. Petrisor’s leadership, Zone Reactor executed four technology licensing deals and launched a new in-flight entertainment company named Lumexis Corporation.
• Ryan Perdue, Co-Founder — Mr. Perdue is responsible for identifying specific market opportunities for Origin Technologies. Earlier, Mr. Perdue worked with Dr. Petrisor in assisting client companies with technology transfer at Zone Reactor. Mr. Perdue’s experience also includes venture formation as an Associate at Monitor Ventures’ $100 million fund in Santa Monica, California.
• Dr. Larry Sweeney, Co-Founder – Dr. Sweeney has over 15 years experience in various roles at Tele Atlas including Vice President for ITS Business Development, Vice President/General Manager for Advanced Product Development, and Vice President for Government & Industry Relations. He has an international reputation as a pioneer and leader in developing and deploying ITS mobility technologies and applications. Prior to Tele Atlas he had over 30 years experience in defense electronics engineering and R&D management.
• Mike Sheffield, VP Engineering Services - Mr. Sheffield has over 20 years experience in engineering, software and systems development, product development, and business development. As the founder of Joshua Wireless, Mr. Sheffield assisted start-up telecommunications companies in product development and in developing business and sales channel strategies. Prior to Joshua, Mr. Sheffield served as Product Development Manager for SkyTel, a wireless communications provider, where he was responsible for development of wireless handheld and vehicle systems.
